Future Shop will be offering another videogame Steelbook exclusively for pre-order customers once again. This time it is the Mass Effect Collection Steelbook! This will be a G1 only release on March 6, 2012. Once again this will be available to both online (links to the respective SKUs will be posted below) and in-store customers who place their pre-orders for Mass Effect 3 for the 360, PS3, and PC. Usually there are some available to those who did no pre-order during the first day of release, but those usually go fast and are gone by the afternoon.

There is also going to be some type of metal case within the Collector’s Editions for Mass Effect 3, but that has not been confirmed to be a Steelbook and may just be some different tin packaging since EA’s Star Wars: The Old Republic Collector’s Edition last December contained a metal tin and not a real Steelbook. The artwork for whatever metal packaging within the Collector’s Edition of Mass Effect 3 will, of course, be different from this Future Shop exclusive Steelbook release.
